Life Skills
& Wellness
Our work is not just about saving lives, but also collaborating with our clients so that they can thrive. Our life skills and wellness activities equip clients with psychosocial and life skills interventions to increase their resiliency, improve their health and increase their self-sufficiency. They also foster community and connection.
Clients in interim housing and at the Annenberg Access Center have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of groups and classes, ranging from Coping Skills and Harm Reduction to Nutrition Education and Yoga, among other skill-based workshops. We also provide community activities at our permanent supportive housing sites.
Additional programmatic offerings that support life skills and wellness include our Money Management program, support groups at the Ron Beasley Wellness Center, k9 Connection supporting pet owners and youth, and our Arts Programs at various sites, including our flagship Studio 526 site in Skid Row.
