Donations

Are you looking to make an impact in your community? There are many ways you can help our vulnerable neighbors rebuild their lives – #housedhealthysafe.

In-Kind Gifts:In-kind or non-monetary contributions are items, products, or services that are provided free of charge to The People Concern. These donations are valuable resources that we then distribute to the most vulnerable in our community. In keeping with our mission of treating all program participants with respect and dignity, we ask that all donations should be clean and, if used, in good condition. Click here for our current list of the most in demand items. Donations can be dropped off at our Santa Monica office: 1453 16th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404, as we do not have a pick-up service.

Matching Gifts:An easy way to double or even triple your donation to The People Concern is to find out if your company has a matching-gift program. Such programs typically match all or a percentage of employee contributions to charitable organizations, making the employer a partner in employees’ personal philanthropy. Simply obtain a matching-gift form from your employer’s personnel office, fill it out, and provide it to The People Concern with your contribution. If you’d like to add your company to the list of known contributors or for more information about how to obtain a matching gift for The People Concern, please contact Kate Berman at (323) 334-9000 or kberman@thepeopleconcern.org.

Empowerment CirclesIt is only with the support of many generous donors that we are able reach thousands of individuals in need every year. We have created The People Concern Empowerment Circles program as a way to say thank you. For information on Empowerment Circles and how you can become a member, please contact Kait Peters at kpeters@thepeopleconcern.org
